Actor
Whoever or whatever interacts with the system in a use case: a person, another system or a device.
Definition
The primary actor is the one who wants the goal (a customer reordering food). Secondary actors help along the way, like a payment provider or an email service. Each actor hints at test data and roles you need.
In practice
In 'Reset password', the primary actor is the customer; the email service is a secondary actor that sends the link.
