Single-use recovery codes shown when 2FA is set up, for when the phone is lost.
Definition
Each code should work exactly once, be shown only at setup (or regenerated with re-authentication) and never be emailed in plain text.
In practice
Using backup code #3 logs you in; using #3 again is rejected.
