Diacritics
Also called: Accents, Accent marks
Accent marks on letters, like é, ü, č or ž. Search usually should ignore them.
Definition
Diacritics change how text is stored and compared. Users often type without them, so a good search treats "cafe" and "café" as the same. Names with diacritics must also be saved and displayed correctly everywhere.
In practice
Searching "cevapi" in a food app should still find "Ćevapi".
