Virtualization (lists)
Also called: List virtualization, Windowing
Rendering only the list rows near the screen to keep very long lists fast.
Definition
Feeds and tables with thousands of rows recycle a small number of row elements as you scroll. Testers check scrolling speed, jumping, and that find-in-page or screen readers still work.
In practice
A 10,000-item order history stays smooth because only about 20 rows exist in the page at any time.
