The agreed list of browsers, versions and devices a site supports, and how deeply each is tested.
Definition
Teams choose it from analytics, often in tiers: fully tested, smoke tested, and best effort. Bugs in unsupported browsers may still be worth reporting if many users are affected.
In practice
Tier 1: Chrome, Safari iOS and Edge, latest two versions. Tier 2: Firefox and Samsung Internet.
