Core Web Vitals
Also called: LCP, INP, CLS, Web Vitals
Google's key page experience metrics: loading (LCP), responsiveness (INP) and visual stability (CLS).
Definition
LCP measures how fast the main content appears, INP how quickly the page responds to input, and CLS how much the layout jumps around while loading. They give testers concrete numbers to report instead of "the page feels slow".
In practice
You tap "Add to cart" just as a banner loads and pushes the page down, so you hit "Remove" instead. That layout shift is what CLS measures.
