A bug report that describes a bug someone already reported.

Before filing, testers search the tracker for existing reports. Duplicates get linked to the original and closed. If you have new information, add it as a comment on the original.
In practice
You find a crash on the cart screen, search Jira for "cart crash", and add your device details to the existing ticket instead of creating a new one.
