Expected result
What should happen when you perform a test step, according to the requirements.
Definition
The expected result is the correct behavior you expect to see, based on requirements, designs or common sense. You compare it with the actual result to decide whether a test passes or fails. It should be specific enough that two testers would judge it the same way.
In practice
After tapping "Save" on the profile screen, the expected result is a toast saying "Profile saved" and the new name shown at the top.
