Lazy loading
Loading images or content only when the user scrolls near them.
Definition
It speeds up the first view of a page. Testers check that lazy content does load when scrolled to, doesn't cause layout jumps, and that the main image is not lazy-loaded.
In practice
Product photos further down the page load as you scroll, but the hero image appears immediately.
