Reopen rate
The share of fixed bugs that fail retesting or come back later.
Definition
A high reopen rate can mean rushed fixes, unclear bug reports or missing regression tests. It's a team health metric, not a way to blame individuals.
In practice
Out of 50 bugs fixed this sprint, 6 were reopened: a 12% reopen rate.
