Test case repository
Also called: Test repository, Test case library
The central library where a team keeps all its test cases, organized into sections and suites.
Definition
The repository holds the master copy of every test case with fields like priority, type and automation status. Cases are written once and reused in many test runs, release after release, so the repository has to be kept up to date when the product changes.
In practice
FoodDash's repository has sections for Login, Cart, Checkout and Tracking. For release 2.0, the tester picks 40 of its 300 cases into a new run.
