V-model
Also called: V model
A sequential model where each development phase is paired with a matching test level.
Definition
Requirements pair with acceptance testing, system design with system testing, architecture with integration testing and code with unit testing. Test planning starts as soon as each document exists.
In practice
While developers design the system, testers already write system test cases from the same design document.
