Autocomplete
Also called: Suggestions, Typeahead
Suggestions shown under a field while typing, which the user can pick to finish the input.
Definition
Autocomplete speeds up search and forms by suggesting queries, addresses or products. Testers check relevance, keyboard selection, what happens on fast typing, and that suggestions don't show for the wrong query.
In practice
Typing "head" in a shop suggests "headphones" and "headphones wireless"; arrow keys and Enter should select a suggestion.
