Certificate pinning
Also called: SSL pinning
An app accepting only its own server's real certificate, which also blocks proxy tools.
Definition
Pinning protects users from interception, but it stops testers from inspecting traffic with Charles or Proxyman. Teams usually provide debug builds without pinning.
In practice
Proxyman shows only failed connections for the production app, so you ask for a debug build.
