Event bubbling
Also called: Click propagation
A tap on an inner element is also delivered to its parent elements.
Definition
If a button sits inside a clickable card, one tap can trigger both unless the developer stops it. It's behind many 'tapping the heart also opens the product' bugs.
In practice
Tapping the favorite heart on a product card adds it to favorites and also opens the product page.
