Gesture
A touch action such as tap, long press, swipe, pinch or drag.
Definition
Gestures are the ways users interact with touch screens. Testers check that each supported gesture works, does not conflict with system gestures (like swipe-back on iOS) and has an alternative for users who cannot perform it.
In practice
Swiping left on an email to delete it also triggers the iOS back gesture when the swipe starts near the screen edge.
