Test coverage
How much of the product, requirements or risks your tests actually check.
Definition
Test coverage measures the extent to which something has been exercised by tests. For manual testers it usually means requirement coverage (how many requirements have tests) or feature, device and browser coverage. High coverage reduces risk but never guarantees zero bugs.
In practice
You tested the checkout on Chrome and Safari but not Firefox, so your browser coverage for checkout is two out of three supported browsers.
