Test data
The input values, accounts and records you use while testing.
Definition
Test data is any data needed to run a test: usernames, passwords, card numbers, product IDs, files to upload and so on. Good test data covers valid, invalid and unusual values, and never uses real customers' personal information.
In practice
For a sign-up form you might prepare emails like anna@test.com (valid), anna@test (invalid) and a 254-character email (boundary).
