Internationalization (i18n)
Also called: i18n
Building a product so it can be adapted to any language or region without code changes.
Definition
Internationalization prepares the code (no hard-coded text, flexible layouts, Unicode, date and number formats). Localization then adds the actual translations and regional details.
In practice
Because texts are hard-coded, the 'Buy' button can't be translated without a new release.
