Pipeline
Also called: CI pipeline, CI/CD pipeline
The automated sequence of stages a code change goes through, from build to tests to deployment.
Definition
A typical CI/CD pipeline builds the code, runs unit tests and lint, deploys to a test environment, runs automated API and UI tests and prepares a release. A red pipeline means a stage failed; the log says which one and why.
In practice
PR #418's pipeline is red because one UI test timed out waiting for map tiles.
