QA portfolio
Also called: Testing portfolio
A small public collection of your testing work, such as a test plan, test cases and bug reports.
Definition
A QA portfolio is a page or repository, often on GitHub or Notion, that shows samples of a tester's work so employers can see it before an interview. For people without testing experience it usually holds practice-project artifacts: a test plan, test cases, bug reports and exploratory session notes. It must never contain confidential material such as take-home assignments or employer data.
In practice
A career changer's GitHub repository with a one-page test plan, eight test cases and three bug reports from a practice food delivery app, plus links to issues they filed in an open-source project.
