Entry and exit criteria
Also called: Exit criteria
Conditions that must be met before a test activity can start (entry) or before it counts as done (exit).
Definition
Entry criteria might be 'build deployed to staging, test data ready'. Exit criteria might be 'all high-priority tests run, no open blockers'. They stop teams from starting too early or finishing too soon.
In practice
Testing can't start because the staging environment still runs yesterday's build, so the entry criteria aren't met.
